Literature Text

..

i get a little lost without the curve
of your heartbeat
he said my hair is soft like brushed jazz:
-smells pretty
and i pretended not to hear~/
folding flowers into the creases
of my pocket..

i am ophelia
kissing blue alcohol..
swaying a gentle suffocation
against mohawk seizures
vintage club and velvet floors
kitten purr locked inside
sliding doors

I'm

thinking of you.. thinking of me
so i take the backstreets from this scene
music slide ache behind ghetto walls
i get a little lost without your words..

found the rain along a swamplit street
drag streetlamp flowers beneath my feet
static black shine of telephone wires
i'm a carcrash heart without your voice..

i am ophelia kissing
blue alcohol..
swaying a gentle suffocation

i am drowning stars in empty gardens

..
